"Is nationalism good thing?"

Nationalism is a political belief which thinks of race preferentially.

I think nationalism is good thing and necessary for our lives. If we think nationalism is important, we can establish order for a nation.

But if we don't think about the nation, our places will be tarnished and other countries will neglect our country.

Some people may say nationalism is bad, talking about German Nazism.

But that example is not pertinent because German Nazi's got their profit on the pretext of nationalism and that misused a sense of nationalism.

A essential sense of nationalism is thought that people are very very important in their country. Therefore, for our people and our country, nationalism is necessary and good thing.

My First TOEIC

I went to Gwang-Ju Dongmyung middle school on December 20th, 2009. The purpose of the visit was TOEIC.

Before I went there, I made an engagement with Jin-Ook to go together. So I called her, taking a bus. Then, Jin-Ook said that she overslept. Thus, her mother had us take a taxi from Na-ju to Gwang-ju (very expensive!!).

Jin-Ook and I barely arrived at Dongmyung middle school. But she had a problem. She forgot the certificate for the examination. So, we went to the teacher's room and asked to use the Internet and printed the document. We stood in a line to check for fever due to the new flu. I was so nervous.

Jin-Ook and I parted because the examination site was different. I went to my examination site. Because it was the first time, my hands were getting wet.

Before I went in for TOEIC, I didn't prepare for the exam perfectly since I didn't know what to do and l disliked that a little. So, I was nervous more and more. The test began, and for a listening test, the broadcasting started. Obviously, I heard it, but I didn't understand well. But, the reading test was not bad. l felt relieved.

From that day, January 8th 2010 , the result of examination was announced. Concerning the first exam, my grade was not so bad. I didn't study and prepare well for the examination. because of this examination, I felt need about preparation and attitude dealing with examination well.

So, I will change my attitude about tests into something positive.

About me.

My name is Lee Ji-Hye and I'm 19 years old. Do you know what my name means? In English, 'Ji-Hye' means wisdom. Because my parents hope I grow to be wise, they named me 'Ji-Hye'. I was born in An-yang in Korea, but now I live in Na-ju.

My family consists of parents, an older sister and younger brother. My birthday is August 8th. Amazingly, my brother's birthday is July 7th. Those are same! As it feels like it is special, l like it. Sometimes when I say that, most are surprised. And I like the number '8'. My friend Jin-Hee said our family loves each other so much. My sister has a strong mind. Since I am rarely strong, l want to take after her. In my childhood, l hated her because she made me work so often. But now, l love and respect her.

My hobby is watching movies, surfing the Internet and imagining whatever I want. My dream is to heal people's wounded hearts. I want to help them. For realizing my dream, I will study very very hard.
